Endangered Species Mural Project

31 walls painted 2016 to 2019.

31

murals on record, by 6 named artists.

Project of the Center for Biological Diversity, coordinated by artist Roger Peet, that paints murals of endangered plants and animals in towns near where they live. The records here come from the Center's public story map layer of mural locations, which names the species on each wall and the artists and town. One wall lost to fire is listed as gone, and a mural that was moved to the Pine Ridge Reservation is left out.
