What we collect and what we show.

Who runs this site

Murals of the World (muralsoftheworld.com) is run by Justin Wills, LLC in Los Angeles, California.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into our forms:

• The permission request form on a wall page: your name, email, company if you add one, how you want to use the wall, dates, budget range and your message.
• The claim forms for artists, groups and photographers: your name, email, your website or Instagram handle, and your message.

We use this to pass your request to the artist, check a claim, and reply to you. We do not sell it or use it for ads. There are no accounts and no passwords on this site.

Instagram posts

Some wall pages show a post from the artist’s own public Instagram account. These are embeds: the post is loaded from Instagram when you open the page, and each one links back to the post and the artist. We save only the link to the post. We do not download or store the photos, captions or any Instagram account data.

When an embed loads, Instagram (Meta) may set cookies or collect data under its own policy: Instagram’s privacy policy.

Other services the pages load

Maps come from OpenStreetMap and some street photos from Google Street View. Those services see your request for the map or photo like any website would. The site is hosted on Vercel and the data is kept on Supabase.

Getting your data changed or deleted

Email us and we will tell you what we have, fix it, or delete it.
